The YellowGuide is a perl based yellow pages type system and is well suited to running a commercial yellowpages site. While this system is designed to run as a complete website the guide listing displays are script and template driven so it can easily be used with an existing site.
This is not your average yellow pages type script. The YellowGuide is designed to be used commercially with lots of options to make selling space easy. The management of categories and listings is done through a web interface allowing for the creating, editing and deleting of feature and standard listings.
Test drive the demp and see how it works. Read the documentation, or at least look it over a bit first then try the admin Control Panel to see how easy it is to create categories, add listings and delete unwanted listings.
